Matty Beniers of Hingham, Mass., and the University of Michigan is set to make New England proud by going early in the first round of the 2021 NHL draft.
The USA Hockey NTDP alum is set to be the first local selected, but he won’t be the last. The 2003 class isn’t a strong one across the country, but there are several other New England prospects who will hear their names called.
