BOSTON — It got close in the final moments of the third period, but in the end, Duxbury emerged with a 5-2 victory, winning the 2023 MIAA Division 2 girls hockey championship.
It's Duxbury's first championship win since 2014 when the Dragons won four from 2011-14.
The 2014 title came in Division 1.
