Will D’Orsi making most of off-ice chances at Yale

By Dan GuttenplanNovember 1, 2018

A junior from Sudbury, Mass., Will D’Orsi was an All-ISL forward at St. Sebastian’s. (Jack Warhola)

Will D’Orsi committed to Yale as a high school sophomore in 2013 believing that eventually joining that year’s national championship program would give him an excellent chance to become one of the nation’s top hockey players. Now a Yale junior, D’Orsi’s hockey plan hasn’t yet taken shape exactly as he hoped, but he is — without question — one of the nation’s top students.

His four career points at Yale are trumped by a 4.0 GPA as he pursues a degree in economics. In August, D’Orsi (Sudbury, Mass.) was named an AHCA Academic All-America selection.
