Some 2007-born players will play college hockey this fall, but that's far from the majority of '07s.
In New England prep hockey, various '07s are still uncommitted worthy of college attention — either at the Division 1 or Division 3 levels.
On Thursday, we released our list of top uncommitted '07 forwards entering the fall. Now, it's time to look at defensemen and goalies.
Some of these players graduated, while others still have prep eligibility.

Justin BriseBois
St. Mark’s, 6/12/2007, G, catches left, 6-1/170
Hometown: Tampa, Fla.
BriseBois broke out this winter in a big way, leading St. Mark’s to the No. 2 seed in the Elite 8 and earning New England Hockey Journal’s Goalie of the Year award. He led all prep goalies with 1,000 or more minutes in save percentage (.935) and goals-against average (1.83). He is slated to play with the QMJHL's Sherbrooke Phoenix this coming season.
Nick Evans
Kimball Union, 3/13/2007, D, right shot, 6-2/175
Hometown: Malden, Mass.
Evans had a nice 20 points as a senior at Kimball Union. I’ve always liked his shutdown abilities. He has a great stick and is physical on opposing forwards.
Jack Fichthorn
Westminster, 5/10/2007, G, catches left, 6-1/181
Hometown: Darien, Conn.
Fichthorn built off a strong showing at USA Hockey Select 17 Camp last summer by being one of the best goalies in prep. He posted a .928 save percentage and a 2.53 GAA to help Westminster make it all the way to the Large School title game. He’s shown he can withstand facing a whole bunch of shots.
Justin Garvey
Milton Academy, 3/7/2007, D, right hot, 5-11/155
Hometown: Rye, N.Y.
As a junior at Milton, Garvey upped his production to five goals and 17 points in 28 games. He’s an apt puck-mover who showcases patience and an appetite to rush the puck. If his production jumps even more as a senior, he should get some attention from NESCAC programs.
Dylan Lee-Stack
Brunswick, 4/24/2007, G, catches left, 6-2/175
Hometown: New York, N.Y.
Lee-Stack had a much better first half than second in the prep season but still posted a 2.66 GAA and a .904 save percentage, helping Brunswick into the Elite 8. His size and positioning on shots make him an intriguing goalie prospect to track.

Aiden MacIsaac
Lawrence Academy, 1/11/2007, D, left shot, 6-1/190
Hometown: Andover, Mass.
MacIsaac didn’t have the jump in scoring that I thought he might as a senior, as he posted 16 points in 28 games. Still, he’s a shutdown defenseman who could be a nice addition for a Division 3 program.
Anthony Palmer
Avon Old Farms, 10/28/2007, G, catches left, 5-10/160
Hometown: Lynnfield, Mass.
Palmer long has been one of the top ’07 goalies in Massachusetts, but his size can sometimes hurt him in the eyes of scouts. Where his size has never hurt him: results. He grabbed the starting job at Avon this winter and was fantastic with a 2.20 GAA and a .926 save percentage.
Brendan Petraco
Phillips Exeter, 6/11/2007, G, catches left, 6-3/185
Hometown: Setauket, N.Y.
Petraco took off halfway through the prep season, notching a 2.60 GAA and a sparkling .931 save percentage. With his size, he should be one of the top prep goalies on a revitalized Exeter team next winter.
Will Rob
Holderness, 8/2/2007, D, left shot, 5-10/180
Hometown: Montpelier, Vt.Â
Rob had a nice senior year with Holderness, tallying 22 assists in 30 games. What Rob does best is move pucks. He's patient with breakouts and when quarterbacking the offense from the top of the offensive zone. He's also a smooth skater, which allows him to get to space to find better passing lanes. He spent some time at the QMJHL's Charlottetown Islanders camp before being cut as a free agent.
Moussa Seydi
St. Mark’s, 5/14/2007, D, left shot, 6-2/175
Hometown: Beaconsfield, Quebec
Seydi broke out as a top defenseman for St. Mark’s this past winter, notching 28 points in 30 games. More importantly, he took on the top players from opposing teams and used physicality to get under their skin. He’s still a bit raw but has a great stick and upside as a two-way defender at the Atlantic Hockey level. Seydi left St. Mark's before his senior year, but was cut by the QMJHL's Newfoundland Regiment on Thursday.
Lucas Siomos
Kimball Union, 7/3/2007, D, right shot, 5-11/195
Hometown: Newtown, Pa.
Siomos was a high offensive producer for Kimball Union this past winter, notching 37 points in 37 games. He’s smart with pucks and walks the blue line well to create shooting and passing lanes. At higher levels, he projects as a puck-moving, stable defenseman.

JJ Thibodeau
Belmont Hill, 2/20/2007, G, catches left, 6-0/176
Hometown: Waltham, Mass.
Like Palmer, Thibodeau has long been thought of as one of the top ’07 goalies in Massachusetts. He had a 1.68 GAA and a .914 save percentage, splitting time with Keagin Wilson (Hingham, Mass.) at Belmont Hill this past winter. If he’s the full-time starter in 2025-26, it should go a long way to helping him bump his college stock.
