What to make of recruits flipping from Quinnipiac to BU

Over the last three months, Quinnipiac has lost two of its prized recruits. In both instances, the culprit was Boston University.

National Team Development Program defenseman Dom Fensore and Selects Academy 18U center Ethan Phillips both chose to play for the Terriers over staying committed to the Bobcats.

Phillips was the latest; his switch became official earlier this week. The Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, native is a speedy, skilled forward who is heavier than his weight might indicate. He’s not going to be overly physical, but his quickness and stickhandling allow him to create time and maneuver in tight spaces.
