Cushing’s Nolan McElhaney among top USHL Phase II Draft prospects

The United States Hockey League (USHL) will host its 2018 USHL Phase II Draft T on Tuesday, with the purpose of league organizations selecting players born between 1998 and 2002 who aren't already protected, affiliated, or drafted in yesterday's Phase I Draft.

Several players from the New England region are expected be selected in the draft. Here's a look at New England prospects, and a few others who compete in the region, who should be coveted by league organizations, broken down by birth year.

1999s
• Nolan McElhaney
Cushing, 4/22/99, Defense, Right Shot, 6-3/190 (NCAA: UNH)

• Vilho Saariluoma
Cushing, 7/14/99, Forward, Left Shot, 6-3/200 (NCAA: Bentley)
