Thirteen New England prospects will participate in this weekend’s prestigious STX 68 Combine, an invitational-only showcase featuring the best 2004-born players in the United States.
The STX 68 Combine takes place just outside of Chicago at the Seven Bridges Arena in Woodridge, Ill. While the ‘04s are still almost two years away from NTDP selection and drafts for the USHL, OHL and QMJHL, the event will still be well attended by college coaches, junior scouts, USA Hockey personnel, and NHLPA agents.
The STX 68 Combine is traditionally a strong indication of future success. Fifteen players from last year’s event, featuring the ‘03s, have already committed to Division 1 programs, including several from New England.
