BROOKLINE, Mass. — Holderness senior forward Maxime Charbonneau fired a pass across the Dexter Southfield zone to junior forward Caden Wells.
With the goalie pulled and Holderness down a goal, Wells fired a shot that snuck through Dexter goalie Max Gatti's (Winchester, Mass.) left side to tie the game, 2-2, with 1:19 left to play.
That score stood through the rest of regulation and overtime, as two teams who badly needed a win to gain ground in the Elite 8 race failed to do so.
