Eight New England natives will participate in the 2018 World Junior Summer Showcase that starts July 28 in Kamloops, British Columbia.

USA Hockey splits its roster into two teams – Blue and White – for the first few days of the camp, then cuts it down to one for the final few days. Canada, Finland and Sweden are the other teams at the showcase.

The showcase is meant as an evaluation for players hoping to earn a spot on the U.S. team for the 2019 World Junior Championship, which will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia. At 2018's version of the tournament, the U.S. took home a bronze medal over the Czech Republic.
