The 2018 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League draft took place June 2 in Shawinigan, Quebec. Players born in Quebec, the Canadian Maritimes and the six New England states were eligible to be selected.
2002 birth-year players are in their first year of eligibility for the 2018 QMJHL draft. While most New England prospects elect to stay in the States and continue on the track toward playing college hockey, the QMJHL is still a route that some from this region have chosen, including current NHL stars Keith Yandle (Milton, Mass.) and Charlie Coyle (Weymouth, Mass.).
