It's no surprise that St. Mark's dominated our First and Second ISL Eberhart teams. The Lions were our cover team. No shock either — all three of the cover players are on our teams.
But there's more talent in the ISL Eberhart than just St. Mark's.
The Eberhart features two legit NHL Draft prospects and multiple uncommitted players who will have Division 1 college coaches watching them this winter.
Here are our First and Second ISL Eberhart teams.
First team
Evan Nee | St. Mark’s | F
Nee was catapulted into being a primary scorer for St. Mark’s last season and thrived, notching a team-high 51 points. Now a senior, Nee is motivated to get St. Mark’s back into the Elite 8 and make one last prep impression on Division 1 college coaches.
Will Manchuso | St. Mark’s | F
Manchuso’s stock is high and only seems to be going higher. After 37 points in 30 games last season, the Dartmouth commit had nine points in six games at Select 17 Camp this summer and has been dominant for the Neponset Valley River Rats’ 18-U team. It’s fitting that NHL Central Scouting gave him a ‘C’ rating as a fourth- or fifth-round candidate for June’s NHL Draft.
Max Donatelli | St. George’s | F
Donatelli had 40 points in each of the last two seasons. Now, the ’07 is the guy for St. George’s. He will likely help drive a line and be a leader for a team that's in playoff contention. He’s also uncommitted, so expect the Barrington, R.I., native to be playing with extra motivation this season. You can always count on his hockey sense.
Kaiden Donia | Groton | D
The 6-foot-5 defenseman will have scouting eyes on him all season, as he’s an NHL Draft candidate for June. He was at Select 17 Camp this summer and made the Hlinka-Gretzky Cup Camp for Team USA. The Quinnipiac commit should be a force this season.

Phin Howard | St. Mark’s | D
Howard had a nice season last year with the Lions, putting up 13 points in 30 games. He’s improved since last season, as one of the top defensemen on the River Rats’ 18-U team this fall. He’s a fantastic skater who should impact the game heavily at both ends of the ice this winter.
Alex Wang | St. George’s | G
Wang had a rocky start to his prep career at Groton last season but found his level with Boston Hockey Academy’s 16-U squad in the second half of the winter. Now at St. George’s, the 6-foot-3 netminder is still the same one who dazzled at Select 15 Camp last summer.
Second team
Caiden Pellegrino | St. Mark’s | F
Pellegrino easily could be a first-team guy. The Providence College commit dazzled in his first prep season, posting 41 points in 30 games. He’s one of the top playmakers in New England and should experience an increase in production this winter.
Cam MacPherson | St. Mark’s | F
MacPherson gets overlooked sometimes and shouldn’t. The Hopkinton, Mass., native does nothing but produce, jumping from 30 points as a freshman to 37 as a sophomore last winter. More production should be in store this season.
Luke Sardone | Middlesex | F
Sardone had a nice season last winter, tallying 25 points in 26 games. He’s noticeably improved since then, with a strong summer and great fall for the Brookline Whalers. Middlesex should be a revamped team this winter, and Sardone will be a massive part of it.
Payton Tracy | St. George’s | D
It’s Tracy’s time. With Everett Baldwin (Providence, R.I.), Marco Senerchia (Greenville, R.I.) and Nathan Walsh (Mendon, Mass.) graduating, Tracy looks to be the guy for St. George’s on defense. He’s had a fantastic fall for the River Rats 18-U squad. That should translate into the prep season.
Jake Donatelli | St. George’s | D
This is and isn’t a stretch. It is because Donatelli is a ’10. It isn’t because Donatelli played a regular shift in prep last winter and has only gotten better since then, with strong showings at Select 15 Camp and with the River Rats 15Os this fall.

Derrick Huang | Rivers | G
Huang will have competition from sophomore Will Torres (Framingham, Mass.) this season, but Huang had a nice season last winter with a 2.76 GAA and a .897 save percentage. He will backstop a very young team.
