The Hingham, Mass., native is the complete package. He can skate, he competes, he has skill and has hockey sense. He recovers a lot of pucks and has the quickness and hands to make plays in small areas. The remarkable part of his game is that he goes hard every shift, which is rare for a player of his caliber.
Philip Tresca
#7 Rivers, RW, Soph., 4/10/02, Shoots Right, 5-8/150
The Newton, Mass., native is a small forward who has a lot of skill. His hands and stick skills are both very good. He’s still struggling to assert himself and make hockey plays in prep school when he’s competing against older players. He’s better at finding soft spots in opposing defenses when going up against players his own age in split season 16U action.
Sasha Teleguine
#10 Thayer, LW, Fr., 9/17/02, Shoots Left, 5-10/160
Teleguine is a very good skater who has an explosive stride and plays hard. He’s struggled to really make an impact as a younger player in prep, but there is a lot of upside. He has shown a few glimpses of being able to protect pucks and get off a good, heavy shot.
Thomas Messineo
#24 St. Sebastian’s, D, Soph., Shoots Left, 5-10/172
The Westwood, Mass., native is a physically mature defender who should continue to develop into a Division I prospect. He’s rugged and gets shots on net from the point while making smart outlet passes from deep in his own zone.
Tucker Hartmann
#4 St. Mark’s, D, Soph., 4/4/02, Shoots Right, 5-10/168
The Southborough, Mass., native is an athletic blue liner who is starting to find an offensive touch from the back end. He skates well and is smart, despite not being flashy.
Gavin Fitzpatrick
#35 Thayer, G, Soph., 1/9/02, Catches Left, 6-1/165
Fitzpatrick has good size, athleticism and fundamentals. He’s been hung out to try a few times in the early going, but he’s still the best uncommitted ’02 goaltender in prep hockey.
