Many of the top ‘02s in prep school hockey are in their first year of eligibility for the NHL Draft.
Leading the way is St. Mark’s junior defenseman Ian Moore, who recently switched his college commitment from Princeton to Harvard. The Concord, Mass., native is rated as a ‘C’ prospect by NHL Central Scouting. Six other prep school ‘02s are rated as ‘C’ prospects by NHL Central Scouting.
While many of the top ‘02s in prep are committed, one of the more coveted prospects is Kimball Union newcomer Luca Fantilli, a defenseman from Toronto, Ontario.
