The 2001s, sans the prospects with late birthdays, are in their draft year throughout the 2018-19 season. Two New Englanders – forward Matt Boldy (Millis, Mass.) and goaltender Spencer Knight (Darien, Conn.) – are projected as first-round selections at the 2019 NHL Draft in Vancouver, British Columbia.
