The first annual Massachusetts High School Hockey Showcase takes place this weekend, June 15-17, at Walter Brown Arena on the campus of Boston University.
The showcase is organized by Vegas Golden Knights director of amateur free agents Mike Levine. The event's coaches, who have all played high school hockey in Massachusetts, primarily come from local colleges and high schools. NHL scouts will help out, too.
Notable coaches include Northeastern associate head coach Jerry Keefe, New Hampshire head coach Mike Souza, Winnipeg Jets free agent scout Mark White, and Boston Bruins scout Scott Fitzgerald.
New England Hockey Journal will be on hand at Walter Brown Arena to scout many of the top prospects in Massachusetts high school hockey. A full analysis and write up will follow next week.
