Two rinks, five high school and prep level programs and a Division 3 college program are just a quick show of the Massachusetts town of Milton’s force as a New England hockey epicenter.
With boys and girls teams at both Milton High School and Milton Academy and a girls co-op at Fontbonne Academy with Boston Latin, plus the Curry College team, this town has found a strong balance in athletics, academics and ability to get the most out of the players who are born and bred in this hotbed for the sport.
It’s this type of foundation, backed by an ever-growing youth program that has been pumping out talent since 1965, that has allowed the sport to continue to strive in this community and produce quality players, even in the face of the changing landscape of the game itself.
