Hangin’ out with … New Hampton School forward Jake Dunlap

By Joshua KumminsDecember 7, 2018

Jake Dunlap is committed to UMass. (Dave Arnold/NEHJ)

How would you describe yourself as a player? Are there any NHL players you emulate?

“I consider myself a smaller forward who likes to play big and create chances with my speed and physicality. A little rough in the corners and create chances for my teammates. I like to play a little rough in the corners, be gritty, and create chances for my teammates using that.

“I think the biggest part of my game is my speed, so that’s why I like (Connor) McDavid so much. I try to use my speed like he does and create offensive chances.”
