A pair of Hockey East commits, Peter Reynolds and Guillaume Richard, have been named to the Hockey Canada roster for the 2019 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
Richard and Reynolds are two of 66 players to make the initial roster. The players selected will be divided up into three teams, Canada Black, Canada Red, and Canada White. The three Canadian teams will compete against the United States, Czech Republic, Finland and Sweden.
The 2019 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge takes place in November in Swift Current, Saskatchewan and Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Reynolds, a Boston College commit, is in his first season playing for the Chilliwack Chiefs in the BCHL. The Fredericton, New Brunswick, native is a speedy, skilled playmaker. The center previously played two seasons at Shattuck St. Mary's in Faribault, Minn.
