Golden opportunity for hometown Bruins as Game 7 looms

It’s been 90 years since a native New Englander hoisted the Stanley Cup as a member of the Bruins. As four locals hope to change that narrative in the Cup Finals, Bob Sweeney and Marty McInnis reflect and appreciate the significance.

‘There’s nothing better than the Stanley Cup playoffs.”

Those words are echoed over and over again at this time each year, but the Boston Bruins are in the late stages of a run that has made the conclusion of this National Hockey League season even a bit more exciting.

It has been a special time for New England hockey fans to watch for more reasons than one.
