OK, everyone can take a breath now.
The mad dash of the holiday tournaments is officially in the rearview. The next time we see any prep hockey action, the calendar will read 2026.
Unsurprisingly, there was plenty of chaos throughout the week. You had a slew of ranked matchups, in addition to other notable results.
Nobles took down Williston Northampton in the Harrington Invitational final, and Loomis Chaffee knocked off Phillips Andover for the Patsy K. Odden title. Williston also faced St. Paul's, and Andover also took on Tabor.
Elsewhere, Deerfield and Dexter Southfield met at Dexter's holiday tournament, and the latter won the title over Rivers. Cushing also fell to Groton in the Watkins Tournament final.
So, how did it all impact the top 10? Spoiler alert: No team stayed in the same spot as last week.

1. Nobles (9-0-0)

You'd be hard-pressed to find a team that had a better weekend than Nobles. The Bulldogs are rolling after winning the Harrington for the 10th time since 2011 and 17th time since 2000. They took down BB&N, Lawrence Academy and Westminster before outplaying former No. 1 Williston in a 3-0 shutout, finishing the weekend with a 17-1 scoring margin in four games and three consecutive shutouts. Francie Ames (Brookline, Mass.) was one of several Nobles skaters to have a huge weekend, as she finished with seven points, including goals in the final three games of the tournament. Catherine McCool (West Roxbury, Mass.) also had a goal and two assists versus Williston. The Bulldogs are off until a top-five matchup at Dexter to begin 2026.

2. Loomis Chaffee (7-1-0)

Next game: vs. Milton Academy, Jan. 9, 7 p.m.
The Pelicans moved back into the top three after a big weekend of their own at the Patsy K. Odden Invitational, knocking off former No. 3 Andover, 4-3, for the title. Loomis also dominated the Round Robin, taking care of Kent, Lawrenceville and Hotchkiss via a 19-0 margin. Annie Schwarz (Fairfield, Conn.) had 10 points across the four games, including two goals and an assist versus Andover, while Lindsay Stepnowski (South Glastonbury, Conn.) had nine points on the weekend. A hat tip to Carly Dann (Hanover, N.H.) for stepping up and playing forward. She had a goal and three assists against Andover. Loomis will open 2026 against Milton Academy.
3. Williston Northampton (5-1-0)

Next game: vs. Canterbury, Jan. 4, 10 a.m. (New Year's Prep Puck Drop)
The Wildcats slipped slightly after taking their first loss of the season against Nobles. The Wildcats rolled through the group stage of the Harrington, though, shutting out St. Mark's, 4-0, and Milton, 6-0, in addition to a 3-1 win over St. Paul's. Mia Daley (Lynnfield, Mass.) was among the Wildcats' best, putting up a goal and an assist versus both St. Mark's and St. Paul's. Ashley Anderson (Wilmington, Mass.) scored her first prep goal against Milton, too. The Wildcats are back at it against Canterbury and Rivers to kick off the New Year's Prep Puck Drop. They'll be one of the favorites in the field.
4. Phillips Andover (5-1-1)

Next game: vs. Governor's, Jan. 7, 3 p.m.
Andover dropped one spot after falling to Loomis in the PKO championship, their first loss of the season. The Big Blue outlasted Choate, 1-0, and Tabor, 2-0, on top of a high-flying 7-1 win over Taft. They also led, 2-1, at one point against Loomis. Andover's top skaters led the way, including Caroline Averill (Wayland, Mass.), who had three points (two goals) against Taft and two goals against Loomis. Keira Bruen (West Roxbury, Mass.) scored both goals against Tabor, while Sarah Powers (Lynnfield, Mass.) had four points (three assists) versus Taft. The Big Blue also cruised to an 11-0 win over Austin Prep last Tuesday, thanks to big nights from Powers and Lilly McInerney (North Reading, Mass.). Andover will begin 2026 when they host a tough Governor's squad.

5. Dexter Southfield (6-0-2)

Next game: vs. Nobles, Jan. 7, 4:30 p.m.
Dexter moved back into the top five after winning its holiday tournament, technically tying Rivers, 2-2, before prevailing in a marathon of five overtimes. Maggie Chudzinski (Needham, Mass.) scored a beauty for the winner, while Evelyn Doyle (Needham, Mass.) scored twice. Dexter took care of business throughout the weekend with a 7-1 win over Nichols, a 5-2 win over then-No. 8 Deerfield and a 4-0 win over Thayer. Maggie Lovering (Scituate, Mass.) had four assists against Thayer, while Leah Hafer (Winchester, Mass.) had a hat trick. Elizabeth Allen (Brookline, Mass.) also had a four-point outing against Nichols with two goals and two assists. Dexter will face its toughest test yet when it hosts Nobles in the new year.
6. Tabor (6-1-1)

Next game: vs. Williston Northampton, Jan. 10, 1 p.m.
The Seawolves slipped one spot after going 2-1-1 at the PKO. They took down Taft, 4-1, as well as Lawrenceville, 1-0, in the third-place game. Tabor also tied Choate, 2-2, before winning the shootout, in addition to the Andover loss. Charlotte Landau scored a pair against Taft. Giuliana Polcari (Marshfield, Mass.) came through with the lone goal against Lawrenceville after also scoring against Taft. The Seawolves will be thrown right back into the fire to begin the next semester when they host Williston on Jan. 10.
7. Deerfield (7-2-0)

Head coach: Brooke Fernandez
Next game: vs. Lawrenceville, Jan. 10, 12 p.m.
Deerfield bumped up a spot after a solid, 3-1-0 weekend at the Dexter tournament. The Big Green outlasted Thayer in a dramatic, 4-3 win before falling to then-No. 6 Dexter. They also took care of Nichols School, 5-1, and Hill School, 6-1. Sophie Frost had a big weekend with two goals against both Nichols and Hill School, while Brady Wierl scored against Thayer, Nichols and Hill. Gillian Herr had a pair against Dexter, too. The Big Green are off until they host Lawrenceville on Jan. 10.

8. St. Paul's (7-2-0)

Head coach: Kelli Mackey
Next game: at Vermont Academy, 3:30 p.m.
St. Paul's jumped after a 3-1-0 showing at the Harrington, picking up shutouts in three of four games. They took down Milton Academy, 3-0, before falling to Williston, 3-1. The Big Red also knocked off St. Mark's, 2-0, and Lawrence Academy, 5-0. They did it without freshman star Kelsey MacPherson, who went down with an injury ahead of the tournament, too. Stepping up to play forward, Chelsea Bell (Barre, Vt.) scored twice against Milton. Erin Flaherty (Boston, Mass.) scored against Lawrence and St. Mark's, while Cadence Crowley (North Reading, Mass.) scored twice against LA after adding another versus Williston. SPS, which has shutouts in six of its last seven, will be busy to begin 2026 as a trip to Vermont Academy kicks off a stretch of three games in four days.
9. Groton (5-2-0)

Next game: vs. New Hampton, Jan. 7, 4 p.m.
The Zebras entered the top 10 for the first time this season after rolling to the Watkins Tournament title, upsetting former No. 7 Cushing with a 4-1 win in the final. Groton also shut out Millbrook, 1-0, and beat Berkshire, 2-1, in overtime. Tina Scalese (West Boylston, Mass.) had two goals and an assist against Cushing, while youngster Ava Barbour scored the winner versus Berkshire. Oona Kathan (Arlington, Mass.) also scored her first career goal against Berkshire. Groton will face Small School rival New Hampton to open 2026.
10. Rivers (5-1-1)

Head coach: Keith McLean
Next game: at Williston Northampton, Jan. 4, 2 p.m. (New Year's Prep Puck Drop)
The Red Wings jumped back into the rankings after a second-place showing at the Dexter tournament, giving the hosts all they could handle in a tie and a five-overtime loss in the finale. Rivers led, 2-1, at one point, too. They also posted shutouts in a 1-0 win over New Hampton, a 5-0 win over Brooks and a 5-0 win over Hill School. Simone Burns (Winchester, Mass.) had three goals on the weekend, while Kate Hayes (Wellesley, Mass.) and Kendra Snell (Southboro, Mass.) each had two. Snell was among the goal-scorers against Dexter. Rivers will face its toughest opponent yet when it opens the NYPPD against Williston. The Red Wings could potentially face Cushing as well.
