Nearly six months after the Frozen Four wrapped up in St. Paul, Minn., college hockey is back.
For every program, a renewed sense of optimism is swept in as they embark on earning a spot in this year's Frozen Four, held April 11-13 in Buffalo, N.Y.
To preview what's in store locally, New England Hockey Journal has compiled every incoming freshman at Atlantic, ECAC and Hockey East programs. While only 20 of those 34 teams call the New England region home, there's an interest in each for competitive purposes.
These recruits are compiled by NEHJ's Joshua Kummins, with hometown (if native New Englander), position, height, weight and previous team.
