While Minnesota has taken over – at least for now – as the undisputed top hockey talent-producing region in the United States, New England remains a hotbed.
Look no further than over 100 players from the region who are committed to playing college hockey. As of Oct. 24, 2018, there were 114 players from New England with a college commitment.
Most of the region’s committed players are slated to play for area schools. Northeastern is most represented with 16 local commits. Providence has 10 New England commits, while Boston College has eight.
