Brian Carrabes has announced his verbal commitment to play college hockey at Boston University.

An ’01 from North Andover, Mass., Carrabes will play prep school hockey for Kimball Union this upcoming season after skating for Kristian Hanson’s St. John’s Prep squad the last two years. Several elite prep schools were vying for his services before Tim Whitehead's Wildcats closed the deal.

Carrabes led the Eagles in scoring as a sophomore, putting up 21 goals and 13 assists in 23 games played. After a one-year hiatus from the MIAA Super 8 Tournament, SJP earned the three-seed for this year's tournament. Carrabes was one of the standout performers during the games at the Tsongas Arena.
