Cayla Barnes didn’t expect to be here.
After Team USA officials released her before setting the final training roster of the 2018 U.S. Women’s Olympic Team, Barnes was getting ready to settle in to her role at Boston College.
That’s when she got the call. She was going to be invited back to Team USA.
