The Boston Bruins announced Wednesday the signing of University of Wisconsin sophomore center Trent Frederic, the organization's first round draft pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Frederic signed an entry-level contract, but will finish out the 2017-18 season on an ATO with the Providence Bruins.
