New England will be well represented when Team USA heads to Zug, Switzerland, for the U18 Women's World Championship in January.
USA Hockey released its final 25-player roster, which includes nine New England skaters.
Of the nine, two hail from Vermont. Defender Megan Healy (South Burlington, Vt.) is an '07 Princeton commit who skates with the Bishop Kearney Selects. She won a bronze medal with the U.S. at the 2023 U18 Women's World Championship. Fellow blue-liner Taylor Senecal (Essex Junction, Vt.) is also an '07 committed to Colgate. She plays for the North American Hockey Academy.
The remaining seven are from Massachusetts.
