The field is set for the 2026 NCAA men's Division 1 hockey tournament.
New England will be well-represented. While this will be the first time since 1981 that no Beanpot schools are tournament-bound, six schools punched their ticket to the big dance.
The four No. 1 seeds are Michigan, North Dakota, Michigan State and Western Michigan. Last season, Boston University and Maine both snagged top seeds.
The six New England teams are Providence College, Dartmouth, Quinnipiac, UConn, Merrimack and Bentley.
Those six teams will fight to get to the Frozen Four, held in Las Vegas on April 9 and 11.
The Sioux Falls Regional has three of the local squads. While North Dakota is the headliner, the Fighting Hawks face Merrimack on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. EST. Providence College and Quinnipiac will battle in the game before, which begins at 5 p.m.
UConn and Dartmouth scored spots locally in the Worcester Regional. UConn faces No. 3 Michigan State at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. That will be followed by Dartmouth taking on Wisconsin at 5 p.m.

Bentley faces Michigan, which is the No. 1 overall seed, in the Albany Regional. That game is set for Friday at 5:30 p.m. The winner of that game faces the winner of Minnesota Duluth vs. Penn State.
The Loveland Regional doesn't feature any New England teams, with No. 4 Western Michigan taking on Minnesota State, followed by Denver clashing with Cornell.
