What other sports did you play as a kid?
“Baseball and basketball.”

Who’s the hardest goalie to beat in the NHL?
“Timmy (Thomas) is tough, but ‘Tuuks’ (Tuukka Rask) is up there, too.”

Who’s the fastest player you’ve ever gone up against?
“Marian Gaborik. I played with him in Minny, and he was something to watch. Just unbelievable.”

Who’s the last player you’d want to lay a big hit on you?
“There’s so many of them. Johnny Boychuk hit me pretty hard last year. I’m on his team now, luckily.”

If you could vacation anywhere, where would you go?
“Anywhere south, where there’s a beach.”

If your luggage was lost, what would you miss the most?
“Probably my sweatpants.”

What was the worst course you had to take in school?

If forced to do karaoke, what song would you pick?
“Oh, god. No clue.”

“James Bond.”
