Andrew Merritt is a Massachusetts native who still remembers taking his first unsure skating strides on Longfellow Pond in Wellesley. He’s a 2005 graduate of UMass-Amherst, and has covered Hockey East since 2002. He continues to cover Hockey East, as well as the Bruins, for New England Hockey Journal.
