Key Facts

Position: Forward

Team: Cornell University Big Red (junior); Boston Bruins prospect

Hometown: Jacksonville, Fla.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?

“I am extremely neat; my room/house is pretty much spotless at all times.”

Do you have any phobias?

“I hate sharks. I’ve lived my whole life in Florida and still refuse to go in the ocean past my waist.”

If you could hang out with any celebrity, who would you choose?

“Tim Tebow. We’re both Jacksonville boys and he seems like an awesome guy to hang out with.”

What’s the best hangout spot near campus for you and your Cornell teammates?

“When it’s warm out we make our way up to CTB in Collegetown. We sit outside and enjoy the weather and there’s usually a live band playing.”

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you in a game?

“I vaguely remember a play when I was very young when I skated from the offensive zone back to my zone and scored on my own goal.”

What was it like to be around the cameras for “Behind the B?”

“It was pretty awesome; just to be a small part of that and to represent the Bruins organization at the summer camp was pretty special.”

What’s the best meal you can make?

“I have pretty much perfected grilled chicken with broccoli and a sweet potato. Unfortunately that’s about the only meal I can cook that’s half decent. I am a big fan of the dining hall.”

If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose?

“Spiderman because Tobey Maguire is a great actor and swinging around on webs throughout NYC looks pretty fun to me.”

What’s the best birthday present anyone’s ever given you?

“MacBook computer. I am a huge fan of Apple products in general.”

If there was a movie made about your life, who would you want to play you?

“I’d have to say Gerard Butler. He is an unbelievable actor and you never know what he’s going to do next in most of his movies. ‘Law Abiding Citizen’ is a good one.”
