Happy birthday to Johnny “Pie” McKenzie, who turns 75 today. McKenzie, a Bruin from 1966-72, had 396 points in 453 regular season games with the Black and Gold. The 5-foot-9 winger was a key contributor during each of the Cup runs he was a part of, notching 34 points in a combined 29 playoff contests in ’70 and ’72 – two seasons that saw him play in the NHL All-Star Game.
